UPDATE: We were jumping the battery everytime and so we changed the battery. After we did, it just cranks and cranks. It feels like a security thing. But I have tried everything I know how to do. BEFORE: The Jeep runs and drives, but it does have a couple flaws. It has a misfire on cly 4 and it looks like newer coils so i would think its a wire to the plug, a bad plug, or maybe an injector for that cylinder. There are no other dash lights on at this time. The engine still felt very strong just had that steady spudder of a miss. I think the miss might be causing some upper end lifter tic. it comes and goes but I cant tell if its exhaust or lifters myself. Overall this feels like an "ok" jeep that would get you from A to B. In case you are wondering why there are both black and white pictures of this Jeep, it was stolen earlier this month and the person who stole it decided to start painting it black and green in order to hide it from authorities. We retrieved the vehicle, but decided that it looked better completely black rather than the way they had it. There is a virtual test drive video for more information on the condition of the vehicle.
My name is Matt, and my wife (Miriam) and I run a small used car dealership in Fort Madison, IA. We have been in business now 10+ years and have tried lots of different things from buy here-pay here to selling Hummers. But, we found the greatest need is in cheap, affordable transportation. We try to sell our vehicles as cheap as we can. Our business model is simple...Sell more cars for less, and we know prices sell. So, due to our wholesale pricing we can not hold vehicles nor accept any payment other than cash. Please understand I can't hold a vehicle because if someone else is here before you wanting it with cash in hand, it's not fair to tell them to wait. I try to price my vehicles competitively because I know price sells and marking things sold before they are ends in disaster on a business end. Our biggest goal is ''To put people in a better place''. We will be honest, and upfront with you. We will not hound you on the lot if you're just here to look, nor will we play games with our prices. We are a no-haggle dealer and put a lot of pride in being BLUNT and UPFRONT. We don't offer any financing as we truly believe in the long run that won't help a short term problem. Be honest with us and we will do our best to help you find your next vehicle--even if that's not buying one from us.
